Learn to manage disruptive behaviour and re-engage vulnerable and challenging children with learning.

About this course

You will learn why children behave the way they do.

You will be able to identify their underlying emotional needs and you will discover practical activities to help them.

By the end of the course you will feel more confident to deal with disruptive and challenging behavior and you will find stress levels reduce as relationships between staff and children improve.

Duration: 9 days spread over two terms.

Requirements: No previous qualifications required.

Venue: Rockingham PDC, Rotherham.

1 & 2 Feb 2/3 9am - 3.30pm

3 & 4 Mar 5/6 9am - 3.30pm

5 & 6 Apr 23/24 9am - 3.30pm

7 May 14 9am - 3.30pm

8 & 9 Jun 13/14 9am - 3.30pm

Twilight* Mar 5 4pm – 5.30pm

Follow-up one session for three supervision per term terms
