Adult Learning

Woodthorpe Development Trust has dedicated Learning Champions who can offer advice on adult education and training opportunities. They support people looking to learn new skills or brush up on what they already know, with their aim being to remove any barriers that prevent people from gaining new skills. They have details of courses that people can attend and can work with them to set goals and also help achieve them. Many of the courses run take place locally throughout Manor, Wybourn, Woodthorpe, Stradbroke and Richmond.

Learning Champions can help you to be able to learn by providing practical support in finding childcare, contributing to travel and course costs, accompanying individuals to enrolment days, and even helping to fill out application forms, in fact anything that is required to get people learning!
