Heavy snow this winter has not dampened the spirits of youngsters or residents in the Woodthorpe area. Despite freezing temperatures and unseasonally high snow fall Woodthorpe has not ground to a halt. The primary school has only had to close early once due to health and safety reasons and Woodthorpe Development Trust has continued to operate uninterupted throughout. Summer Festival Woodthorpe Development Trust would like to say a great big thankyou to everyone involved in the Woodthorpe Community Festival held at Woodthorpe Primary School on Saturday June 13th.
